Business Development Associate:
We are looking for commercial business development professionals that have a basic mathematical background and understand construction related trades. Must have a desire to make a six figure salary in the first year and have a proactive personality. This is a commission based position with incredible growth opportunity and no salary cap. Percentage rates vary and range from 3.0%-6.0% depending on experience and your sales ability. There is much growth opportunity in renewable sales which can lead you into even higher commission rates. Business Development Associate:
- Intra-prenuerial skills allowing you to make key business development decisions
- Very committed to determining your own business future and record sales goals
- Feel comfortable making six figure salaries and maintaining this goal
- Develop new business accounts within a geographic territory
- Handle large accounts and projects ranging from $250,000 to $20 million
- Identify new solution opportunities to market new and existing clients
- Cold call and respond to client inquiries
- Manage the client relationship that will result in your development as a trusted adviser
- Coordinate, schedule and deliver product training and sales presentations to customers/clients
- Work with the Engineering team members to turn leads into business opportunities
- Develop and coordinate preparation of proposals with the Engineering team
- Close business project proposals and follow up after project completion
- Understand customer needs through surveys and client meetings
- Assist in general marketing activities

Business Development Manager:
The Business Development Manager must successfully complete a Business Development Associate position, have proven sales in renewable energy systems and have worked in our Business Development department for a minimum of one year. After these requirements have been met you can apply for our Business Development Manager position. The Business Development Manager includes salary plus commission. Commission rates will be based on past sales history. Helios Electric will determine if you are ready for this management position.
Business Development Manager:
- Continue to work with existing customers
- More responsibilities regarding customer accounts and services
- Hire and monitor business associates sales progress
- Manage and train a team of associates to achieve the following
- Develop new domestic business accounts within a geographic territory
- International business development within global territories
- Research and develop new international business clients
- Identify new solution opportunities to market new and existing clients
- Cold call and respond to client inquiries
- Manage the client relationship that will result in your development as a trusted adviser
- Coordinate, schedule and deliver product training and sales presentations to customers/clients

Technicians:
Experience in PV installation and are currently interested in making this a career? You will start out as an intern and work closely with electrical engineers and electricians to learn the installation trade and understand how to install a solar system not only to National Electrical Code standards but also Helios Electric standards. We represent high standards and will expect this from any of our installation crews. We will continue to offer our customers the best design, prices and install systems that produce efficient and long lasting electricity. Installation work is paid hourly. Environmental Design Engineer:
Electrical or Environmental Engineers with a four year degree from an accredited college or university. You must have at least three years experience in CAD or any other construction related drawing software. You will be climbing, lifting, and assessing a home or business and will need to have a good understanding of construction related fields as well as solar, wind turbine, and geothermal system design. Some training will be provided. Your tasks will range from CAD design to inspection and other required paperwork. Renewable energy installation experience in solar, wind or geothermal is a plus. Warehouse Manager:
The warehouse manager will be responsible for various inventory control, phone orders, returns, backorders, packaging, customer and manufacturer relationships. You must have warehouse experience, understand international supply chain, import/export compliance and are good working with people. Multiple interviews will be required. Anyone can sell our services! If you were a customer of ours or have met us somewhere we offer $15.00 for home and $20.00 for business assessment recommendations. No training or interview is needed for this position, just explain what we are about and if the customer calls us out to the site we will send you a check. Be sure the customer you referred us to has your name and address. We will contact you with payment after a full home or business assessment has been completely performed.
